Terms of sale

These terms apply to every order placed at vaelle.io. Placing an order means you accept them. They do not take away any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer law of your own country.

1. Who we are

Vaelle is an Australian label. Our business details are at the foot of this page. Contact: hello@vaelle.io.

2. Products

Every piece is made to order from the cloth described on its page. Garments are shown on AI-generated models; the fit on a real body will differ, so rely on the published measurements, not the images. Natural fibres vary slightly in colour and hand from batch to batch.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are the prices shown at the time you order. Shipping is added at checkout as set out on the Shipping page. Import duties and taxes outside Australia are your responsibility.

Card payments are processed by Stripe on its own pages under its own terms. We never see your card number. Crypto payments are made to an address we generate for your order alone. The amount quoted in Bitcoin, Ether or USDC is locked for 30 minutes; after that the quote may change. An order is paid when the network has confirmed the full quoted amount. If less arrives, the order waits until the balance arrives. If payment arrives after the quote has expired we will either honour it or return it to an address you give us, at our choice. Network fees are paid by the sender.

4. Your order

An order is accepted when we have confirmed payment. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if we cannot source the cloth, if the price shown was plainly wrong, or if we suspect fraud. In every such case you receive a full refund and we tell you why.

5. Making and delivery

Lead times, shipping rates, destinations and transit times are on the Shipping page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns, faults and refunds

Every piece is made to order. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or sizing, so please check the measurements before you order. If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we repair, replace or refund it, as the law requires.

7. Privacy

We collect no data beyond what an order needs: the items, a name and address for the parcel, and an email if you give one. We set no cookies and run no analytics. Details are in the Privacy section of the home page.

8. Intellectual property

The designs, patterns, images and text on this site belong to Vaelle. Buying a garment does not transfer any right to reproduce it.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the consumer guarantees.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
